 The modular carrousel

Schiess' carrousel lathes provide nearly everything that is possible in carrousel turning. The modular design enables manifold cobinations of turning and milling tasks on a single machine. On demand, even special solutions with larger table and traverse pathes are realizable.

Turning and milling on the same machine


Turn-mill centres of UniSpeed series demonstrate a massive bed construction with closed body and excellently perform in combination with a standardised orthogonal head heavy machining tasks. With a turning diameter of up to 1,600 mm at 240 min-1, even parts can be manufactured, which normally require a heavy carrousel lathe.
